ASANA
Asana
There are four foundation Vinyasa Krama Mandiram sequences. I'm currently authorised to teach two of them :-
Chandra Krama (Moon sequence) – sattvic and gentle practice combining yin yoga with vinyasa. Focusing on the more subtle aspects of asana. Movements are slow with the breath and not necessarily with ujjayi. Can be practiced on moon days, on ladies holiday (menstruation). More intuitive, introspective, letting go, releasing tension and stress.
Mārjāra Krama (Lion Cub sequence) is a therapeutic sequence using props. This will highlight where your weaknesses are. Focusing on alignment in an accessible way. Although less dynamic than Atapa Krama or Ashtanga primary series, however just as challenging in many respects.
